about us |
History ![]() It all started with the discovery of tattered books in one preschool nearly 14 years ago. Since then, thanks in large part to one woman’s steadfast vision, MAKE WAY FOR BOOKS has conducted early literacy programs impacting the lives of tens of thousands of children. |
Board ![]() The MAKE WAY FOR BOOKS Board of Directors is made up of kindred spirits: members of the community--business owners and executives, librarians, attorneys, authors, educators and doctors--who are truly child focused, community minded, and dedicated to the MWFB mission. |
Staff ![]() They call themselves a tribe and strive every day, by pooling their collective experiences, to make a difference in the lives of southern Arizona’s youngest citizens. Their backgrounds are varied, but one thing remains the same: they all care deeply about children and early literacy. |
